We made our way to D.C. and toured some of the historic places. Then we went down through Richmond and Jamestown, all of the colonial, revolutionary and civil war battlegrounds and places. We stayed in Virginia Beach and then Norfolk in the French Quarter. Then we visited the Wright Brothers historic place in Kitty Hawk. We also ate at “Citrus” in Virginia Beach, “The Weeping Radish” and “Black Pelican” in KItty Hawk. They were all visited by Guy Fieri and featured on “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” on the Food Network.
